Our October Guest Designer, Kerry McConnell is back again with a great card for today. Remember to read down to the bottom of the post as we do a look back at all of her awesome cards that she shared with us this month.
Happy Friday everyone. Kerry here with my final card as this month’s guest designer.
What better way to finish out the month of October than with a Halloween card!
Today’s card features some cute mugs by Crafty Stamp Co.! You can find these images in their Cute ‘n Creepy Caffeine stamp set. I stamped the images out with Honey Bee’s Intense Black Ink and colored them with Ohuhu alcohol markers.
The background was created using Distress Oxide Inks in shades of orange and splattered with Simon Says Stamp’s Pawsitively Perfect Splatter in black. I created a “floor” for my mugs to sit on with the Memory Box Wood Grain Plank die and grey cardstock. I ran a small Distress Ink pad over the top of the die cut pieces to make the grain of the wood planks “pop”.
