Happy Monday! Is it too early to think about hot cocoa? I have to be honest, last week I added a cocoa mix to my morning coffee. There was a chill in the air that morning, and I just had to do it!
I was inspired to create a cocoa card :

Here is a simple recipe for hot cocoa for one:
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1–2 Tbsp. sugar
Kosher salt
1 cup milk or any combination of milk, half-and-half, or cream, divided
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
Whisk 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder, 1–2 Tbsp. sugar, a pinch of kosher salt, and about 2 Tbsp. from 1 cup milk or any combination of milk, half-and-half, or cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat on the stovetop until cocoa and sugar are dissolved, 1–2 minutes. Whisk in the remaining milk and heat mixture over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until it is hot, about 4 minutes more. Stir in ¼ tsp. vanilla extract, pour into mugs, and top with marshmallows, if desired.

My card features the following products from Honey Bee Stamps:
~ Homemade with Love stamps and dies
~ Seasonal Signs die set
Note: both of these sets are on sale right now at https://honeybeestamps.com/
I stamped the image onto kraft cardstock, in a dark brown ink, and colored it with colored pencils. Do you ever use colored pencils? It has been a long time since I have, but I like to color on kraft with them.
I hope I have inspired you!
Hugs and mugs,
Mary
