Happy Monday and welcome back! Altenew recently had a release and I knew I had to have the Scenes in a Sip set. It is so pretty! I love the shadow it creates as well as the “latte” images for the holidays/winter. Since I wasn’t creating a holiday card, I pulled out another stamp set to help me create my own latte art.

I used the following products from Altenew to create this card:
~ Scenes in a Sip stamps and dies
~ Coffee Talk stamps
To create my latte art, I die cut a circle from light brown card stock. I used Tea Dye Distress Ink around the edges of the circle. I stamped the larger heart from the Coffee Talk stamp set and heat embossed it in white. Next, I used an embossing pen to draw the other hearts and heat embossed them. I wasn’t sure if this was going to work, but I kinda like how it turned out!
I love that this stamp set gives the impression of dimension when you stamp the shadow, but I wanted to add even more. I die cut the cup image and added foam tape behind it to pop the cup up. Then, I slipped in the latte. In person, this really looks like you are peering into a cup.
I stamped the sentiment and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I had to double the foam layer under it so it would overlap the cup. I also die cut the spoon and adhered it to the card. To finish, I added three brown hearts near the sentiment.
I’m sure I’ll be using this set more as I really like the finished look.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs and mugs,
Mary
