Can you believe that this is the last Friday of the month? We have been so lucky to have Christine Heye @wrkn4stamps as our guest this month. Please be sure to scroll all the way down to see her earlier projects!
Here is my 4th post for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog, as April Guest Designer. I have certainly felt privileged and enjoyed participating! Thank you to all for making me feel welcome. I am truly honored. Today my card features yet another Pissy Kitty from Unity Stamp Co. and I believe the sentiment says it all…

This gal has seen a lot! She wears her curlers with pride and with no fear. Makeup is on, coffee’s being had, & enjoyed. At the same time, she realizes, it is preparing her for the long day of adulting ahead. Hope this gives you a grin or even a chuckle!
I started by stamping her onto kraft cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored her up using alcohol markers, after lightly white penciling the area, I wished to lighten a bit, to add color. Fussy cut her out, layered her onto vellum, again fussy cutting out, leaving a small border. Lastly layering her onto white card stock and fussy cutting out again. Now she pops a bit.

I diecut (3x) the CFFEE!! from Hot Fudge card stock by Cardstock Warehouse. Glued the layers together. (She is the O;)
I created her fun glasses (Spellbinders) using a glossy black cardstock and 2 kraft layers glued together and added their tiniest of self adhesive gems in Opal, to the corners. Added a touch of size 5 white gel pen to her coffee and she is done.
I used Daily Grind 6×6 paper pad (coffee bean print) by This Calls for Confetti AND the Soft Side of the Fence 6×6 paper pad, from Unity Stamps to create the background. I simply cut sections the same size to create an even background. These were glued onto a thin piece of copy paper and diecut out using an Essentials Slimline Set by Creative Craft Labs to create the scallop border. I then reversed the leftover frame piece and glue both down to a piece of heavy weight white card stock die cut with largest of same set of dies. I used the Unity Stamps sentiment to emboss using versafine black ink and clear gloss wow embossing powder. I laid some paper over the edges and embossed sentiment and splattered background with white acrylic paint. I added some rub-ons to 3 spots and to the coffee cup for added interest (49&Market).

I first added thin foam adhesive to her head and neck area, only. I glued her feet section down- right next to the embossed subsentiment. Now the letters get glued onto…. And please use a ruler, then your letters will be straight, unlike mine LOL. Been sick for a week…..still worked. See adulting is hard. Here are a few more finished photos. Thanks for cheering me on and hope to see you again. If you wish to see more of my art and cards, please check out my IG wrkn4stamps TaTa4Now! Christine
