We’re so happy to have our February Guest Designer, Michael back with us! Make sure you check out all of Michael’s projects at the end of this post!
Hello, everyone! I’m sad to announce that this is my last week as the February Guest Designer for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog. For my last card, I will show you how to make a coffee-themed StenDoodle, a technique I coined many years ago, that blends doodling with stencils.

- I printed the Coffee Cup Row digital image from Stamplorations and die-cut it using a stitched slimline die measuring 2 7/8″ x 7 5/8″.
- Then I went through my stencil stash and pulled out a few that had small designs that could fit into the open spaces in the cups.
- Working cup by cup, I placed one of the designs on top of the cup and traced the image using a black fine-tip marker. I did this to each cup until the row was fully designed. In the middle cup, I first used a hexagon stencil and then went back with another stencil to design inside each hexagon.
- I used my fine-tip BIC Intensity Markers to color the image.
- I made a top-folding slimline card base using Kraft cardstock, glued a piece of fun foam to the back of my colored image, and then glued it to the card front. Lastly, I added a sentiment that is layered on a piece of Kraft cardstock.

I have to thank Amy for asking me to be the Guest Designer for February. ‘ve had so much fun showing everyone some of my art, and I hope you loved it too. To see more of my work, follow me on my social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Hugs from Brasil…
~Michael
