Hello coffee lovers! It’s the National Coffee Week! Today, I have this But First Coffee… a mixed media card to share with you all! Let’s grab your favorite caffeinated drink and take a little break with me…

I made this But First Coffee mixed media card using some products from our Super Sponsors:
- Creative Worship Stamps: Coffee Talk 2 Stamp Set, Vintage Ledger Page Stamp Set, Travel Cup Die Set, Delicate Doily Die Set, Diamond Tiles Stencil
- Therm-o-Web: Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, Deco Foil Gold Transfer Sheets
- DL. ART: Coffee House Bundle 2 Crinkle Ribbon
- Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z- Runner Grand White Permanent

I used the resist technique to create the background panel using the stencil, transfer gel, and Distress Oxide sprays. After the panel dried well, I used damp paper towel to wipe off extra inks of the foiled area. I trimmed it and added to a black mat using E-Z Runner Grand adhesive, and added the whole panel to a A2 card base with the same adhesive runner.
I cut out a piece of white copy paper using the Delicate Doily Die to create my own paper doily. I added it to the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

I cut out the travel coffee cup pieces using the Travel Cup Die Set and ivory cardstock. I added some shadows around the cup and lid using Distress Ink Vintage Photo and blending brush. On the sleeve, I stamped the texture image using the Vintage Ledger stamp set, Distress Vintage Photo ink and lightly sprayed water to it, then I dried it with a craft heat gun. I put the pieces together using E-Z Runner Grand adhesive and then added it to the card with same adhesive.
I tied up some of the mocha crinkle ribbon into a small bow and added it to the card with dries-clear adhesive glue. Put a couple of stamping blocks on top of the bow to hold it down until the glue dried, just for a couple minutes.
And the card is done… Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful caffeinated day!
