Happy Tuesday my creative caffeinated crafters!

Today I am sharing a card that I am so smitten with. This guy is ready for some reindeer games after his cocoa! I am featuring the (SSS) Sweet November Stamps Winter Wishes Reindeer Stamp Set paired with the (SSS) Spellbinders Make it Merry Sentiment Etched Dies.

This stamp set is over the top sweet! You can also color his nose red to make him Rudolph! What fun! I adore making Christmas cards, thy just bring such magic to the holiday season.

For this card I stamped the image in Memento Black ink and then drew a wavy line in pencil where I wanted snow to be. I then fussy cut the entire image and on the lines of the snow. I really wanted to showcase a large space of blue moody background with falling snow so I made this a slimline to accentuate the snow and winter scene. I wanted it to feel like this cute guy was taking a little break before a blizzard was about to set in.

I colored the cutie in copics and set aside. The background is a mix of distress blues splattered with water and blotted with a paper towel. Once I secured the image panel atop the dry background, I added the final touches of white gel pen for highlights and falling snow.
