Coffee Break Monday with Mary: Boba Tea Bubbles

Happy Monday! Today, I am sharing a Boba Tea themed card. I have never had Boba tea, so I did a little research on it. Here’s what I learned:

Boba Tea, also known as Bubble or Pearl tea, is a customizable Taiwanese drink that combines tea, milk or fruit, sweetener, and chewy tapioca pearls. The tapioca pearls, also called boba, are made from tapioca flour, water, and brown sugar. This is traditionally a cold-served beverage. The pearls are what give the drink it’s signature texture. Bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980’s and became popular in Japan and Hong Kong in the 1990’s.

I used the following products to create my card:

~Puppy’s Bubble Tea stamps and dies from Newton’s Nook

~Newton’s Bubble Tea stamps and dies from Newton’s Nook

~A2 Card Layout 2 die set from Newton’s Nook

~Clear Enamel Dots from the Rabbit Hole Designs

Have you had Boba tea, and if so, what flavor would you recommend? I would love to try it!

Hugs and Mugs,

Mary
