Kimberly here, hoping you are well and looking for inspiration. I love looking at all of the Penny Black stamps in stores and selecting a few faves to create with.
Today I am sharing some soft, muted, and somber colors. A cool dreamy background blended with distress oxide inks. Lately when I am not really very inspired I will pull out my inks and blend some background panels to use later.

- Penny Black – Blooms Die Set
- Ranger Distress Oxide Ink – Speckled Egg
- Rangers Distress Oxide – Chipped Saphire

Love the Penny Black series of stamps that all work together. The Blooms and overflowing Blooms are lovely with the Brew-Tea-Ful cups.

Most samples of the Penny Black cards have a water color look. I have used Copic markers and used them in rounded swipes to simulate the look of a watery blended look.

It snowed here over the weekend. Later Sunday evening it was just a dusting. Very late in the winter for our area. Typically in my area of Washington State it snows mildly staying around just under a week and is gone, or we have a crazy ice storm that leaves us powerless for awhile.
Thanks for coming by!
