Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Friday! We’re so excited to have Megan Cooper as our January Guest Designer.

Hello Crafty Caffeinated people! Today I am sharing a bright and fun card as a guest designer, exciting right!

My name is Megan and I have been paper crafting for over a decade and my favorite part is sharing what I have learned. My mom introduced me to paper crafting but heat embossing sentiments got me hooked on paper crafting. Outside my crafty time,  I live in NC, am a momma of two and caregiver to my sister. I am a big fan of being outside doing anything, but really enjoy gardening and taking walks.                                               

My card today features a colorful paper background from the Birthday Brights paper pack from the Super Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co. It made the perfect backdrop for the Bun a Latte critters and sentiment.

I used the colors of the paper as my coloring inspiration to color the images with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. To give the card a bit more interest I added two coffee mugs from the Caffeinated Gnomies set also by Crafty Stamp Co.

I heat embossed the, oh so witty, sentiment on a dark pink cardstock with white embossing powder. I added foam tape to the background layer and to the pink sentiment to give the card dimension. To make the card interactive I added the bunny butt in a cup to an action wobbler. It keeps with the light and fun theme.

I finished the card with a sprinkle of glitter enamel dots, white gel pen highlights, and wink of stella to the colored images.
