Did you know that National Coffee Day is September 29th? That’s in one week!

It’s National Coffee Week on the blog! On Sunday, September 29th we will be celebrating National Coffee Day with a hop! This will be a traditional industry run hop. Grab your favorite cuppa and hop along with us! Each stop will have a prize! Make sure you read each hop post for their prize info!
Hello there, Christine here with a fall/wintery coffee card. I’m using new products from Super Sponsor Concord & 9th latest release. I purchased so many items that I’ll use in my upcoming posts.

I selected an all green color palette. I will say that I’m very slow at picking colors- Concord and 9th has so many warm and cool, muted and bright colors, that I often find myself reaching for their cardstock. I have all the cardstock colors and all the ink colors. The designers at Concord & 9th have such an eye for color, I’m still a work in progress for picking color palettes, so having a set number of colors, a lot of which work together, really helps speed up the process. I used the new Tree Lot Inlay die for this card.

First I just simply cut the all the green shaded cardstocks into 4.25 by 5.5 pieces and then die cut all the Tree Lot Inlay die. The only cardstock that is not Concord & 9th was the light minty blue background piece that I used from my stash. This is paper piecing and you can make your life easier by first adhering double sided adhesive sheets to each 4.25 by 5.5 cardstock piece prior to die cutting. I happened to use the Altenew double sided adhesive sheets that I cut down, but there are many other great alternatives or you can just glue the pieces in. I tend to use the adhesive sheets in general, as die cutting without often results in missing and scattered pieces (especially if they are small in size).

Then I just simply adhered everything! I love doing paper piecing- it is so relaxing! I finished off the card with a mini coffee cup (Cup of Kindness dies) and stamped sentiment (Primrose Garden stamps & dies) Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful day!
