Happy Friday! We have our August Guestie, Teri Anderson, back with us today!
Hi, everyone! I’m Teri Anderson and I’m back with another card to share with you!

I decided to take a walk on the humorous side this week by creating this silly, coffee-inspired scene. I stamped the bird from Ink Blot Shop right on top of the coffee cup from Ink Blot Shop’s Hot & Cold Drinks stamp set. Since the bird’s little legs are so tiny, I didn’t worry about doing any masking. To complete the scene, I added the hearts, worm, speech bubble and little coffee cup.
I cut the scene into a postage shape with a couple dies from Waffle Flower and then placed them onto a panel of cardstock embossed with a folder from Sunny Studio.

To complete the front of the card, I stamped a sentiment on a strip of cardstock and placed it across the card. Let me tell you a little secret about that, though. There was a little spot on the cup where my marker ink bled so it strategically covers it up. The recipient will never know! Hooray! I also added a few confetti sequins.
I don’t often put a sentiment inside my cards but I did for this one. This one called for it so that’s what I did. I kept it simple by just adding the words and no images to it so I can write a long note later.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and letting me share with you.
