I’m so excited to share my coffee date with my friend Chris Franco of Stampin’ Up! Read a bit about her:

I got my first stamp from my mom when I moved out and entered the world of paying bills. She always used a pine branch and a little Memento petal ink pad on her envelopes because she believed in making even the smallest things beautiful. When my daughter was six, I attended my first stamp party, and that was it—I was hooked! That was 20 years ago, and since then, I’ve been a demonstrator for three other companies before finding my perfect fit with Stampin’ Up! just two months ago. When Close To My Heart closed its doors, Stampin’ Up! welcomed us with open arms, and I couldn’t be happier! Now, after retiring as a kindergarten assistant, I’m thrilled to have more time for coffee and creativity. As for a certain style, I don’t think I have one but I do gravitate towards clean and simple. Thank you, Amy, for being my coffee date today!
We’re both featuring the Stampin’ Up Latte Love set.

Here’s how Chris was inspired:

Can you believe I’ve never had a cup of coffee with this fancy foam? Ugh. Someday! I created a saucer for this cup of coffee by just cutting a large circle. So easy! I love this polka dot natural trim from SU – luckily it’s a huge roll…

The second card came together quickly because I die cut some Ranger Watercolor cardstock and then just spritzed some Vintage Photo and Antique Linen Distress ink to make a random background. Isn’t that french press cool? That bit of patterned paper inside is actually a new holiday release from SU – Season of Green and Gold paper pack. I told Amy it reminds me of our countertops when we moved in 20 years ago!

Make sure you check out Chris’ blog for all the details on her two wonderful projects!
Here’s how I was inspired:

I had so much fun with the Latte Love bundle. For you Stampin’ Up fans, you may recognize the retired Coffee Break designer paper that I used on both cards.

I also included another Stampin’ Up sentiment set with both designs.

Pop over to my blog for all the details on my cards.
