Coffee Loving Papercrafters

It has been a crazy week! I was fortunate to be on Spring Break from school, but my plans changed drastically when I found out that I needed to go to Tennessee to help my brother who had been in an accident while vacationing. The good news is, he is now recovering in a rehab hospital and should be able to head home soon.

I was really feeling like my family needed some good vibes, so that is the inspiration for this caffeinated card.

The image is from the stamp set “Coffee Lover” from Erin Lee Creative. I just love the sassy attitude this gal is giving! I colored her with Copic Markers. I have been using green a lot lately…it is my favorite color. The last thing I colored was the belt buckle, and if you look closely you will see some variation in the color. That was caused by my marker “burping” a puddle of gold ink onto my almost finished card. I was so mad! But with a little patience and a Colorless Blender Copic marker, I was able to push most off the color away. Whew!

The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company stamp set “Stay Strong” by Gracielle Design. I love the font and the words were perfect.
