Hello! Can you believe it’s March? The card I am sharing has a bit of an Irish twist in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th.
I started by creating an ink-smooshed background with Ranger Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint. I smooshed three different times and took time to dry my card stock between each time. I think this technique is fun and you end up with great results. After the panel was completely dry, I cut it down a bit and stamped the sentiment from Riley & Co Funny Bones in black ink. (You know I love a good sentiment!)
Next, I stamped Ruby Girl from Picket Fence Studios, colored her with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating die to cut her out. I planned on popping her up a bit, so I added adhesive foam squares to the back.
Then, I die cut some Lawn Fawn Lucky Clovers from white card stock that I had sprayed with Distress Mica Stain in Fresh Balsam, Holly Branch and a bit of Merry Mint. I love how these turned out!
Lastly, I adhered everything in place and added it to an A2 top folding note card.
