Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello crafty peeps.  Kimberly here, it’s great to be back again with all of you coffee & tea aficionados.

Wow.. the holidays are upon us.  This is when the sweet spicy pumpkin, nutmeg, and gingerbread flavors are in full swing.  Cookies might be in the works over here. (Actually pre-Thanksgiving chaos!)

This card showcases my love for cookies, especially gingerbread molasses!  Pair them with a fall flavored latte or creme brulee, and I am in heaven.

I used Concord & 9th cardstock in Black, Mushroom, and Cayenne. The Honeybee Stamps Honey Cut Burlap A2 die was cut with Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bliss (retired) 6×6 paper pad.  The sweet gingerbread people are from the Ellen Hutson Julie Ebersole’s Cozy Cuppa Stamp and die set. The coffee cup, latte swirl, and sentiment are all from the Photoplay coffee & Friends stamp set.  Inks are Memento Tuxedo Black, Concord & 9th Cayenne for the latte swirl.  Copics used: E04, E43, E33.  Detail touches in white gel pen were added.  To top it off, I added a white embossed sentiment strip and Impress sparkle glitter around the latte swirl for a fine twinkling detail.

My favorite cookies… are ALL cookies.  Seriously though, I love me some cookies.  My husband’s favorite are oatmeal scotchies.  You guessed it, those are made more than any other.  I love making peanut butter and molasses gingerbread too!  Love to hear what your faves are around the holidays.
