Top It Off Tuesday with Kimberly: Paper Pieced Pooh

How goes your day?  I found this sweet image from Super Sponsor Impression Obsession that I HAD to grab up. It’s called Pooh Coffee.  Adorable, am I right?!

I used Concord & 9th cardstock in Pebble for the base and a torn strip of Black.  I added the cutest honeybee background paper from the Carta Bella Homemade 12×12 collection called Bumblebees and directly stamped the Impression Obsession image in Versafine Onyx.

I stamped the image onto scraps of grey and pink designer paper (retired) from the Honey Bee Stamps Bee Bliss 6×6 pad as well as onto cream cardstock.  I carefully hand cut the images and layered them onto the bee paper. I used precision craft glue to adhere the paper piecing. I colored the coffee and the bear with copics. Copics used: E04, E43, E33.

This sentiment says it all!  I stamped the sentiment with versafine onyx black onto white cardstock and popped it up with double sided foam tape.  To top it off, I added some details with a white gel pen.

I have a sweet spot for honey, and bees. I like to sample as many varieties of honey as I can.  I like to sample all flavors of honey when I get the chance, my current favorite is lavender honey.

Until next time – take care and create!
