Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy 4th of July!  I hope that the weekend is treating you well.

Today I bring an EXPLOSION of Boba love for you.  I am featuring the Super Sponsor Graciellie Designs newest digi release called BOBA TEA  – and it is available NOW!   I am totally smitten with it’s cuteness!

For both cards I selected the Boba Tea #2 rounded cup and added it twice, just tilting one image slightly over the other then added the sending a whole lot of boba love sentiment.  This would be a great single layer card, however I really wanted to add a lot of bright color.

I colored the main images with Copics as well as making sweeping strokes and scribbly circles.

Ombre Blue Green Card: I flicked the Honey orange Y38 color surrounding the focal images.  Copics: BG05, B14, B0000, BG10, BG11, YG11, R35, R81, Y38.  The layered paper is Concord & 9th in Oceanside & Dragonfruit.  I added Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the boba pearls as well as the straws for sparkly dimension and texture.  White gel pen adds a few highlights to the eyes.

Red, White & Blue Card: I flicked the R81 pink in upward strokes to emphasize the cute main images. Coloring was darkest to lightest blending for the ombre effect.  Copics: BG05, BG01, BG10, R35, R81

To top it off, for both cards, I hand drew some scattered hearts using the R35 copic.
