Happy Monday! Lots of folks have today off for the 4th of July holiday, so I’m hoping you are able to enjoy an extra cup.
Recently, I have been going through my stamp sets and trying to use some things that I have never inked up. My cards today were the result of one of my finds. I came across this adorable set from Catherine Pooler while looking through my stash.
I used the following products to create my cards:
- Cuppa Tea stamp set from Catherine Pooler
- Cove Blue ink and Tranquil ink from Catherine Pooler
I think the images are so pretty! They remind me of my grandmother’s Delft china. I grabbed this image off the internet to share in case you are not sure what Delft china looks like.
My first card was simply stamped. Super quick and easy. I added the little, floral graphic to the envelope flap too. And I’m loving the Cove Blue ink. Such a gorgeous shade.
For my second card, I stepped it up just a little. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on blue cardstock and added foam adhesive to the back of my lacey panel to give my card some dimension. Honestly, this card only took a few minutes more to create than my first card. Which one is your favorite?
I truly wish a cup of tea solved everything. Maybe I need to start drinking tea! Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs and mugs,
Mary
