Hello and Welcome to another Mugshot Monday! This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness and I am here with a fun NOT Easter, Easter Bunny card!  LOL

Today’s inspiration is what I figure the Easter Bunny looks like the morning after Easter!  Haha.  The Dir-Tea Bunny stamps and dies from super sponsor Trinity Stamps fit my mythical inspiration perfectly.  This set is unfortunately retired, but I think the concept would be fun to create with with a variety of bunny stamps on the market.

I started the card with a scrap from a previously stenciled background from super sponsor The Rabbit Hole Designs.  The stencil is called Mid Century Modern and I used their Bitty Blender brushes  to ink blend a rainbow of Atelier Ink colors from super sponsor Ink on 3!  I love how vibrant the colors stay!  I offset the stencil slightly after inking up the first rainbow, and then used the brushes to lightly apply a second lighter application of the same colors.  I generally achieve this by using the residual ink on. my brushes since I keep a brush for each color of the Atelier inks 🙂

The stenciled panel only covered part of the card front, so I grabbed a geometric embossing folder and dry embossed another scrap of white cardsck to finish filling the card front.  To merge the design better, I added a small strip of teal cardstock at the seam of the dry embossed panel and ink blended panel–I love how it all came together.

My Dir-Tea Bunny was colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating die.  The cup says “Bunny Brew” which I thought was too fitting lol!  I mounted the bunny with foam tape for a smidge of dimensions,

For my sentiment I grabbed my Simply Sentimental: You stamps and coordinating dies from Trinity Stamps. I die cut the word “you” and then stamped and heat embossed the smaller sub-sentiment strip.  Those were both adhered with liquid adhesive directly to the card panel completing the design!
