Coffee Break Monday : Hippity Hoppity Coffee

Happy Monday and welcome back. It’s almost Easter, so I wanted to create an Easter themed card. I didn’t have the sentiment I wanted, so I created my own by mixing lots of different sentiments.

I started by stamping the sentiment onto a domed die cut panel. Here are the sets I pulled sentiments from to put together:

Then, I lightly inked the edges of the dome with Spiced Marmalade and the bottom with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

Next, I die cut the bunny layers and adhered them together. I cut the shadow layer of the bunny three times to give some dimension to my card. I die cut the tiny mug from My Favorite Things Tiny Checks Paper Pad and adhered it to the bunny.

Lastly, I adhered the dome panel to some green gingham paper, also from the same MFT paper pad and adhered the bunny, too. Finally, I adhered the whole thing to an A2 top folding card base.

Do you ever mix and match sentiments to create new ones? I really enjoy getting creative with my sentiments. Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and mugs,

Mary
