Mugshot Monday with Watercolor Flowers

Hello and welcome back!  I have been pulling out my watercolor paper lately and this card just kinda came together!  I love watercoloring–I even more enjoy stretching my supplies though!  Super Sponsor Ink on 3 Atelier inks are beautiful inks to actually watercolor with!  I keep a small pallet that I have added a few drops of the Atelier reinkers to and allowed to dry for quick watercoloring!  All I have to do is add a drop of water and use them on my image of choice.

Speaking of images–I am a sucker for a good floral stamp!  This one happens to be the Triple Rose 4×6 Clear Stamp Set from Ink on 3. I heat embossed it in Ink on 3 Gold Rush embossing powder onto Canson watercolor paper.  Then the watercolor technique was “wet on wet” which means I added clean water to the paper before adding the colors..allowing for some beautiful blending and organic swirls!

Next, I die cut the image using my all time favorite Mug Die die from Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps.  Seriously, this die is hands down one of my most utilized!

My sentiment is a die cut from Concord & 9th Everyday Sayings die set.  I cut it out of black cardstock and adhered it directly to the card.  A few loose gold tone sequins finished off the card!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!  I hope you enjoyed the project, and I will be back again soon with another Mugshot Monday!
