Hi there, Christine here with an easy and fun paper-pieced Christmas shaker card. I purchased these from Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson and used both new and older Lawn Fawn stamp & die sets. How was it easy? The new Giant Outlined Merry & Bright die creates a sentiment and background in one go, it is optimal for creating a shaker card because one just needs to adhere the die cut to a full sheet of acetate- put some foam adhesive around the edge- and voila- done!
So to create this card, I ran the die through with some white cardstock and some gold/mint cardstock- save all the negative space bits- I created 2 cards, but one could create even more (only sharing one card today).
I did paper piecing and adhered all the bits to a rectangle piece of acetate with some double stick tape. I then added a thick layer of 1/8 inch adhesive foam around the edge, found a suitable background panel (Lawn Fawn cardstock), poured Trinitys Stamps embellishments in and sealed it all up.
I usually love to use gold bits, but was glad that I used silver bits this time- I think it is cohesive with just a small pop of bright red/maroon. The deer was stamped from the Say What Holiday Critters stamp & die set with brown ink and the hot chocolate was stamped with an older Lawn Fawn stamp called Love You a Latte.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a very happy day 🙂
