Happy Monday and welcome back. My coffee drinking habit has evolved lately. During the work week, the bigger the coffee, the better! Lately, I have been drinking Green Mountain brand Hazelnut Cream. This is made with my Kuerig, and it is meant to be brewed over ice. It really holds up to the ice and still remains very flavorful. I love that it makes a large cup! If you like iced coffee, I highly recommend it. There are other flavors, like Pumpkin Spice, but I am really enjoying the Hazelnut Cream with a splash of sugar-free vanilla creamer. YUM!
The card I am sharing today features the following products:
- Cas-ual Fridays Hot Coffee stamp set
- Simon Says Stamp Autumn Knits Embossing Folder and Cutting Die set
- Ranger Distress Crayon in Fresh Balsam
- Copic Markers W00 and W01
- Paper and ribbon from my stash
This sentiment spoke to me, and made me laugh! I created my card to look like a big to-go cup that I take to work each day. I embossed and die cut the cup and “colored” the cozy with the new Fresh Balsam Distress Crayon. It is such a pretty color! To keep the texture going, I used my score board to add lines to the green paper, and then I added the leafy ribbon to mimic the pattern in the sweater cozy. I die cut a deep red, scalloped circle to adhere my cup to. Not intentional, but it kinda has a holiday vibe with those colors.
Hopefully you are enjoying your Monday and don’t forget the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop starts this Friday!
Hugs and (big) mugs,
Mary
