Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are getting our inspiration from Card Creations for Him! We are in the Hip & Urban section and the next four cards in this section are all for the guys but are very graphic with a father’s day card and some fun play on words!
As I was making my card today, I wasn’t sure how Hip & Urban it would turn out, but in the end, I like it! I think it turned out to be a nice fall coffee card for a guy!! I started with Echo Park Paper Co Celebrate Autumn, I think it’s a year or two old. But, I pulled a couple of pattern papers out and then pulled matching Catherine Pooler Inks.
With Catherine Poolers Pumpkin Season stamp set and my inks, I went to stamping pretty much all the images. Then I fussy cut them out. Next, I used two circle dies and cut the bigger one from one of the pattern papers and the other from some Bristol Smooth paper. Then I used my CP inks, a brown, orange, and yellow that I used in my stamping, and inked up the circle.
Then I used a rectangle die to cut the plaid pattern paper and added it to a brown card base. I glued the two circles together and then adhered them to my card. Next, I played around with all the images that I had stamped and cut out until I ended up with what you see. The images I didn’t use, I will do up another card soon so I use them and not lose them! Lol!
Last, I stamped the sentiment it’s pumpkin season below the circle and images. Here I had to tell myself not to add anything more!! It needs to stay less is more, I think with masculine cards!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to try your hand at seasonal Hip & Urban cards!!
Dana
