Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are getting our inspiration from Card Creations for Him! We have started a new section Hip & Urban. The first four cards in this section are all for the guys but are very graphic, using paper, stamps, and embellishments in an almost preppy way, at least to me!
I tried to use my inner hip and urbanism to create today’s card! I started with My Favorite Things Wallpaper Patterns pattern paper pad. I used one pattern for my card base and the other for a colorful stripe with my coffee cup!
The coffee cup is a stamp from Sweet N Sassy Stamps, I Like Big Cups. I stamped one of the cups on the striped paper and then fussy cut it out. Then I stamped just the top part of the cup on some brown card stock, cut it out, and adhered it to the striped cup.
Next, I used Catherine Poolers Bright Days and stamped one of the light bulbs on some watercolor cardstock. I fussy cut it out and used some watercolors to add some yellow and orange to the bulb. Then I used a clear sparkle pen to add a touch of sparkle to the bulb.
For a sentiment, I used Taylored Expressions Mini Strips Watt’s Up stamp set and matching die to cut a bunch of sentiments. I went with Watt’s up sentiment for my card. I added the sentiment and the cup to the blue pattern paper with foam tape and then adhered the panel to a matching card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to try and make your own hip & urban coffee card!!
Dana
