We’re super excited to welcome Jennifer Ingle as our July Guest Designer!
Hello! This is Jennifer Ingle (aka: Jingle) here with you as Guest Designer for the month of July and I could not be more excited! Let me tell you a bit about myself? I am a wife to my amazing husband, Sean and a mother to a simply wonderful three year old boy, Sterling, along with two fabulous pups, Morgan and Wyatt. I am a heavy tea drinker, but I’m also a Boston girl, so a good Large Iced “Regular” at Dunks is my favorite thing. And, for the record…a ‘regular’ in Boston means lots of cream and sugar. We order like locals around here. 🙂 If I’m making coffee at home, it is usually Dunkin Coffee made in our Chemex, which I swear by. That thing is amazing. Also, we drink a lot more coffee in oh…the last three years or so…funny how that happens when children show up. HA? Well, let’s get to the fun stuff! I love creating cards and I am excited to share this fun one with you today!

I was extremely lucky to win this AMAZING stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps, Slim’s Whims. As I mentioned, I have two wonderful pups and one of them is a great big black lab/dane mix and this stamp reminds me of him so much! I wanted to try to make this pup an older black pup just like my Wyatt. I had so much fun coloring him!!! And, naturally, he needed a good cup of coffee in his paws! I popped up the cup with some Thermoweb foam tape to give the design more dimension. And, naturally, he needed some perky little ears because… coffee …
One of the most wonderful things about puppies is their cold, wet noses and beautiful eyes! I used a bit of glossy accents to give that shine to both on this image. I love how his eyes match the coffee in his cup, too! SO FUN!
The background is created with the Argyle stamp set from Newton’s Nook. O used a few shade of blue distress ink to give it a perfect ombre look. Finally, I simply stamped and embossed the sentiment on a strip of cardstock and adhered it with more foam tape. The panel is adhered to a grey card base to finish it off.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I am looking forward to continuing to share with you throughout the month! Happy July!
