Hello Coffee Lovers!!

It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!

Today we are looking at Paper Crafters Handmade Cards. The Ready-Made Embellishments section features four more cards using buttons, chipboard, and stickers that go with pattern papers used on the cards or just with some stamps in your collection.

I decided to use rhinestones for my ready-made embellishments and as I was thinking of how to use them I thought about a rainbow!! I started with Trinity Stamps Coffee Mug Card Die set, cutting some light green card stock with the die.

To create my rainbow I used Trinity Stamps Rainbow Funshine Die set, cutting out the rainbow, cloud, and sun from white paper. Then I pulled a ROYGBV selection of distress inks to color each rainbow strip. I pressed the ink on my glass mat, added a spritz of water, and pressed the strip into the ink. Then I did the same with the cloud and sun.

While my rainbows dried I cut the inside gift card holder and adhered it to the inside of the mug card. Next, I used some matching green ink and inked it all around the edge of the mug.

When all my elements were dry, I adhered the rainbow strips to the card, trimming off the overhang. I added the cloud and then the sun with foam tape. I departed on adding a sentiment or not but decided not to. Figured I could add one down the road depending on my needs! Last, I added corresponding rhinestones to each rainbow strip.
