I used three sets from Newton’s Nook:
“Newton Loves Coffee” for the cup and sentiment
“Newton Loves Cake” for the Newton kitty, the stamp has him behind a cake but I masked that off and added the cup
“Time for Coffee” for the tiny coffee beans

Hello everyone! Today, have a charming gift you can make for your coffee-loving friends. This chunky slimline card is filled with lovely little bookmarks that will make you want to grab a cup of coffee and curl up on the couch with your favorite book.
I designed this as a simple gift you could make using your six-inch papers. The paper collection is from Echo Park, but it’s likely that you own coffee themed patterns in your stash that would work perfectly for this project.
Jillian Vance Designs has some wonderful stamps and dies for this type of project. The Coffee & Books stamp set is one that I know I will use again and again.
Each stitched bookmark is cut from pattern paper using various dies she has available on the site. I chose some soothing spring colors for my bookmarks and embellished them with some tags, sentiments, and little tassels.
The card has a little pocket inside designed to hold the bookmarks you created. Surprise gifts like this are always fun to place inside a card.
I cut this chunky pocket card template with my Cricut machine. You could generate something like this with a score board, or you can grab the free SVG on my website. It’s a free gift to you for stopping by the blog today. If you wish to see how it all came together, I have a video posted to my channel.
This chunky pocket card is such a simple project. I hope this inspired you to make a few for your coffee-loving book collecting friends.
