Happy Friday! We have our April Guest Designer back with us, Carrie!
Hello, my brew-ti-ful friends! It has been such a joy to be a guest designer this month. Today, I have a gorgeous watercolor creation for you featuring a stamp from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This card is full of texture, dimension, and color.

If you follow me on my blog or social media, you know that I love adding layers and textural details to my projects, and this card has both. The addition of glitter paste, thread, gems, and prills pair so beautifully with the vivid colors on the flowers.
With such a captivating watercolor design, I didn’t want the background to compete with the florals, so I chose to create a glitter paste stencil image. The Corner Mandala matches the floral element perfectly and that glitter paste gives just the right amount of sparkle on the card.

The stamped image was shaded using watercolors. These have become my new favorite medium, but I still have a lot to learn. In my video tutorial, I share a few tips that have helped me as a beginner.
To add some dimension to this stamped image, I cut out various elements and layered them with foam tape. I also added prills and pearls for a little bit of texture.

The elements were layered together onto a six-inch card base with some Echo Park papers. I really wanted this lovely, stamped design to make a statement and this big bold card does just that.
Thank you for allowing me to pour some coffee inspiration into you today. I hope that this project inspires you to grab a cup of coffee and create something new.
I can’t wait to see what you create!
Miss. Carrie
