Welcome back to another Coffe Break Monday with Mary. I hope you are having a good start to your week!
Can you believe it’s March? I’m hoping this means warmer days and more sunshine ahead. Since it’s March, I decided to create a Saint Patrick’s Day themed card.
For this card I used the following products:
- Waffle Flower Nesting Coffee Cup Die Set
- Lawn Fawn Lucky Clover Die Set
- Lawn Fawn Magic Messages Stamps
- Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6×6 paper
- Lucky Clover, Pine Needles, and Brushed Corduroy Ranger Distress Oxide Inks
- Newton’s Nook Argyle Stencil Set
- Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Ultra Fine Embossing Powder
- Ranger Black Super Fine Embossing Powder
I created an ink blended panel and die cut a bunch clovers. I love how they turned out!
Next, I die cut all of the pieces I needed to complete my card. I lightly inked the edges of the coffee cup with Brushed Corduroy Oxide Ink. On the large white, stitched panel, I used a dauber and embossing ink on the Argyle Stencil. Then, I applied the Alabaster White Embossing Powder and melted it with my heat tool. It is a very subtle effect, but I like the added texture.
I stamped the sentiment in the die cut circle and heat embossed it with the Ranger Black Embossing Powder. Then, I inked the edges a little with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.
Finally, I assembled the card and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base.
I do feel lucky that you stopped by the blog. Now grab another cup of java and have a great Monday!
Mary
