We’re so happy to introduce Mary Rose as our March Guest Designer!

Hello, coffee loving friends! It’s Mary Rose here, from Mary Rose’s Cafe. I am so excited to be chosen as the guest designer here for March! Thank you, Amy and team! It is an honor to be among so many talented caffeinated crafters!

We know that spring is coming soon, but here in Michigan, it is still chilly. Sweater weather…but in spring colors! Today’s Brew was inspired by spring sweaters and warm coffee with friends.

I just recently got this stamp set (Frosty Mornings)  and dies from Hello Bluebird, and couldn’t wait to play with it! I decided to make a mini slimline card using the Nesting Mini Slimline dies from Hello Bluebird. I paired the images with the Birch Trees Background (Hello Bluebird) and used some Catherine Pooler inks to give it a fun effect.

I added a little sparkle to the backdrop and the “snowy” ground using Metallic paints from Prima.

I colored the friends using COPIC markers, and added a little detail with a white gel pen.

I decided to stamp the sentiment on a To Go Cup (Papertrey Ink Heart-to-Heart #1 and die) to match the To Go cups that these friends are holding.
