Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello Coffee Lovers!!

It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!

Today we are looking at Paper Crafters Handmade Cards. The Ready-Made Embellishments section features four more cards using buttons, chipboard, and stickers that go with pattern papers used on the cards or just with some stamps in your collection.

My card today features some Ready-Made Embellishments from Doodlebug Designs Lots of Love Collection. It is a Valentine’s themed collection, but it has some great coffee elements and a coffee-themed stamp set that goes with this collection. Even though it’s valentine’s there are plenty of papers, embellishments, and stamps that can work for any time of the year! I picked up the collections and extras from Simon Says Stamps.

First, I picked out some of the coffee, flowers, hearts, etc. embellishments from the ephemera die cut pack. Then I looked through the pattern paper from the collection kit picking out one pattern for the background and a polka dot background for my stitch square.

I played around with the different images until I was happy with the arrangement, going with a teacup and tea bag along with a strawberry, a cloud, and some small hearts. I adhered these to the small rectangle with foam tape.

After adhering my background paper to a white card base I used the Treat Yourself stamps set and stamped the Hello Cute-tea sentiment at the bottom of my card. Then I added the stitched rectangle loaded with images to my card with foam tape.

Last, I wanted just a little sparkle so I pulled out my clear Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen and colored in the small hearts on the background pattern. The second heart in I got a big glitter splat 😦 so I had to cover that up!! I pulled out some rhinestones that matched and added a few of those along with glittering up some more hearts!
