Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello and welcome, it’s Angie here today with another Second Cup Sunday! I have two special cards for you today!

For my card backgrounds, i used some vellum sheets I picked up at a craft “garage sale” I went to on my way to a crafty retreat in Kansas back in October. I got two older pads of printed vellum sheets from Stampin’ Up. I thought they were so pretty and decided they would be great for some cards I had in mind!

Here’s a look at my first card:

I made both the cards the same way. I colored the back of the vellum with alcohol markers and then die cut the sentiments and cup. The sentiment on the first card along with the image are both from Super Sponsor Stamplorations. The “Coffee Cup Die” and the “Thanks a Latte die” were cut from black and white card stock. After coloring the back of the vellum sheets, I added vellum to the card base with double sided adhesive. Once all the die cuts were added, I added gems from my stash to the flower centers. The only difference in this card and the last one is the sentiment is from Graciellie Design (another Super Sponsor) stamp set called Coffee Queen, and it’s stamped then die cut with an oval dotted die.
