Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome back!  I’ve got some caffeinated hugs for you today!  Prickly hugs!  (Maybe they’ll smooth out after my coffee).

I went to Jenniver Dove’s Bootcamp last weekend and while we spent a whole four days coloring with Copics, I also decided to pick up some of these awesome Karin Brushmarker Pro pens from the Bootcamp shop and I’m in love!  I stamped the beautiful Cacti Background from Brutus Monroe (it’s on super duper sale right now!) onto a square panel of watercolor paper in Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder!  Then I colored them in with the Karin markers.  I started by adding a layer of color with lots of water and then let it dry and went back in with another layer for shading… this time coloring directly onto the panel and then light water with the brush to move it around.

While letting the panel dry, I die cut that awesome Coffee Heart die from Erin Lee Creative from some gold matte foil paper and another from some more watercolor paper (don’t worry!  I used a scrap that had marks on it) to make the die cut a little thicker and then popped it up onto the watercolored panel.
