Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are getting our inspiration from Card Creations for Him! We are saying goodbye to the Smart & Geeky section and starting the next section Casual & Playful! The first three cards in this section are fun birthday cards featuring fast food, bold graphic colors and stripes, and some fun fizzy drinks. Looking through this section there is a lot of room for interpretation, just some fun, easy, and well, playful cards for guys!
I happened to have a bunch of images that I had already colored and die cut or fussy cut laying around my desk, when I spotted the cute bunny from Journals For Life. So I grabed the stamp set, Fall Friends and their Friends paper pad. I had colored the images based on the colors from the paper pad.
So I went graphic on this card since it for a guy and the colors can really go either way. Unforantly as I type this up I see that Journals For Life dosen’t have this set or paper pack anymore. 😦 But, I am sure you all have similar items in your stash, that might need a little lovin’!!! 🙂
I cut the different pattern papers into strips, using the Stamp Market 1/2 Quick Strip Die. Then I arranged them on a gray card base, deciding I like some of the strips to be short of the edge and show some of the card base.
Next, cut a quick circle and then stamped the Happy Fall from the stamp set. And since my image was alread colored and cup I added him and the sentiment to the card with foam tape.
I hope this inpsires you to used some of your older items, espcially if you have any already colored, cut and read to go!! Thanks for stopping by!
Dana
