Welcome back! I’ve got a fun one for you today! I’m very excited to share it with you!
I created a fun fold Coffee Shop! I used a couple Colorado Crafts stamp sets that you can find over at Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson’s shop, Coffee House and Home Sweet Home!
I started by cutting a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet of white cardstock and scored each end at 2 1/8 and folded each side over so that the opening is in the center. I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sheet of white and ran it through my Gemini with a brick wall embossing folder and then cut it in half at 2/8″ and layered it onto the flaps. Then I stamped, die cut and colored all of my images.

On the inside of the card, I layered some papers from Honey Bee Stamps from the same pad I used for last week’s card, The Bee’s Knees. I wanted the look of wood paneling and a nice bold wallpaper for the inside of my cafe’.

I created my welcoming cafe front with the door, window, kitties and plant from the Home Sweet Home set and the Coffee House sign from the Coffee House set. I attached the door so that one end hung off of the edge of the flap a bit. I created a band to keep the card closed and added the Hello word die cut from A Jillian Vance Design (love the size of that one!) I think it’s so fun having the kitties on the outside trying to get in because….

Inside those adorable mice from the Coffee House set are going to town getting ready for the customers! I used that cool Cross Hatch die from Rubbernecker as a shelving unit. These cuties have a whole assembly line going on… they really seem to know their way around a bean!

Hello, my friend!

Let’s have coffee soon!
Have I told you how much fun I had putting this one together?? I’m playing along over at Double Trouble Challenges where the current challenge is to create a Fun Fold! And by using one of the Play Doh colors (yellow), I’ve also met the twist. And I’m also linking up this fun fold to their partner this time around, Creative Creases! Check out both for all of the details. Also, don’t forget about our monthly challenge here at the CLC! Check out the challenge post here for all the details and linkup! I can’t wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping and I hope you’ll come again soon!
