Hello Coffee Lovers!!
It’s time for Brew & Craft Your Stash! We are looking for inspiration from Paper Crafters Handmade Cards and Card Creations for Him! Both are from 2013! So grab your cup and settle in!
Today we are getting our inspiration from Card Creations for Him! The next page in the Smart & Geeky section includes four cards. This group has three cards that are space-themed and one that has a superhero theme. Since I have challenged myself this month to create only ocean-themed cards, I did not follow the Smart & Geeky theme, but did make a card that can be used for any ocean-loving guy!!
I started with Catherin Poolers Gift Card To Go Die, cutting the coffee cup from white cardstock and some water pattern paper. I adhered the pattern paper to the cardstock so it would be thick enough to hold the gift card.
I cut the coffee cup wrap from white cardstock. I used some Distress Ink and Oxides to ink it up in blue, adding some water and ink splatters.
While that was drying, I pulled out Newton’s Nook Scuba Newton and stamped all the images. I then used my Copics and Altenew Alcohol Markers to color everything, then fussy cut them out.
The stamp set has a stamp For A Very Happy Birthday, but I masked off the For A Very and just stamped the Happy Birthday on white cardstock. I trimmed it up and notched the ends.
Then I arranged all my images and sentiments on the coffee wrap, using foam adhesive when I was happy with the arrangement! The gift card holder is perfect for the scuba and coffee-loving guy in your life!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to create an ocean-themed coffee card! (or gift card holder!)
Dana
