Caffeine Fueled Paper Play – Homebody!

Welcome back!  It’s a new month and a new challenge here at the CLC and I’ve got some inspiration for you using stamps from Journals For Life and Waffle Flower Stamps and dies from Waffle Flower and Hero Arts!  Here’s how I was inspired:

I started with the Plant Lady stamp set from Journals for Life!  I stamped, cut and colored all of the images from this set and used as many as I could fit in this which turned out to be all but one… I love that a couple of the plants are in coffee cups!  I decided this would be an ode to working from home so I pulled out that awesome Monitor Die from Waffle Flower Stamps.  I decided that those cute bunnies from a (looks like retired) stamp set I picked up from Journals For Life a while ago.  I cut the white window piece from Copic friendly paper and then stamped the bunny closeups on each one and colored them in.

I put the monitor together upside down and used foam tape to keep each of the pieces in place .  I trimmed down a previously created piece of gel press print paper and cut that cool Woodgrain Frame from Hero Arts from white cardstock and popped it up over the base.  Next added the monitor and plants around the monitor.  I cut a cup from the Waffle Flower Be Accessories Die Set because I mean… no work gets done at home if I don’t have my coffee.

I was going to call it done and THEN I remembered the adorable little Frontline Helpers and Frontline Heroes stamp sets from Waffle Flower!  I picked these sets up during a sale and guess what!!  The stamp and die combos are on sale right now… I added links to the names if you think you need them!  You can also find the whole line (and in a bundle!) right in the Waffle Flower store in case you need bunches of other stuff from there!  So I decided my little hamster would be working from home and on zoom… check out her cute little mask on her desk!

I’m also playing along with a couple challenges with this one!  There’s a fun challenge over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog and they’re partnering with Two Crafty Critter Crazies!  You should check them both out!  It’s all about the critters and your pets with a special link up for a pic of you and your furbaby for an extra special prize!

That was fun!

So, now it’s your turn!  Create something new using any sponsor’s coffee themed product(s).  You can mix and match but you must use at least one coffee, tea or cocoa themed item from a sponsor… you can find a list of sponsors in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters group on Facebook here!  Please do link back here to this post and give us a mention!  Also, let us know which item is your sponsor item in case we’re not sure… I know a lot of them… but not all…lol!  (Plus it might be something I need!).  This month’s prize is a beauty from Journals For Life, the But First Coffee stamp set!:

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Now for last month’s winner of that adorabe Pup In A Cup from Not 2 Shabby:

Melissa!  Congrats and please send me your snail mail at bzscrapper66 at gmail dot com so I can send you your prize!

Thanks so much to everybody who played along last month and I hope you’ll play along again this month!  Have fun and good luck!

Look at all those fun elements! You added a lot of fun little things that make it feel almost like a little scene from a cartoon or something. Thank you so much for adding this to the challenge over at Double Trouble 🙂
