Positivi-TEA

Happy Monday Friends!  Today is a big day for me on this blog, because it is my last as a DT Member.  I will likely be back around as part of the Brew Crew, but after almost 4 years on this DT, I have decided it is time to step down.  My work, which I like (most of the time- wink) is good, but takes up more of my time and I just have to shift priorities.  But don’t worry, be frappy!   There are positives around every bend….

Point proven with this bright Cup of Positivi-Tea!  isn’t it just fabulous and bright and happy?  I have been wanting to use this image from the new Trinity Stamps release as soon as I got it, but you know… time… So, this was a good opportunity to use it.

I made this bright cut using Cup of Positivi-Tea from Trinity, stamped with Versafine on watercolor paper and colored with Zigs.  I used the coordinating Cup of Positivi-Tea dies to cut out the mug and the sentiment.  I stamped the image again on white cardstock and cut it out with my Slimline Frame and Fold.  I mounted the die cut images using foam tape.  Next, I mounted that layer on some of the yellow DP from the Rainbow Brights pack.  That in turn was mounted on a bit of black cardstock with rounded corners. On the base, I used the Trinity Quilted Cover Plate Die on the white backdrop.  I used my Blending Buddy, Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and Quilted Pattern Trio Stencil on the background. Lastly, I added these Morganite Muse Gems with glue dots.

I love the way it tured out and it makes me happy.  Like I said, lots of positivi-TEA for this final post.  I will miss being part of this fabulous team, but will continue to cheer form the sidelines, visit as often as possible and play with the team when I can.  Thank you to Amy and all the DT ladies for being fantastic!

Our experienced tea blender personally visits all the plantations we source from to assure the working conditions are satisfactory or above average. We are often asked if our teas are organic and this is will always be our response: as much as possible  our ingredients are organic  but we cannot claim that they are 100% organic. An organic certification is desirable but not always realistic, especially for some of our small farmers who quite simply cannot afford the costly application process required.
