Coffee Loving Papercrafters

We’re back with Laura who is one of our Designer Picks from the 2021 Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:

I’m Laura, and I’m so excited to be Guest Designer today!

I’ve been married for 18 years, and have 3 wonderful kiddos… 14 year old twin girls, and an almost 13 year old boy.  We are California natives, but moved to our forever home in Southwest Colorado a few years ago, and couldn’t be happier!!

I am a life-long crafter, and have dabbled in a little bit of everything! I discovered Copic markers about 12 years ago, and have been obsessed ever since! My card making style fairly simple, usually with a cute colored image as the focal point.

The card I’m sharing today features several coffee-themed goodies from Your Next Stamp!

The mouse in the mug is from the Coffee Characters set, and is stamped in YNS Almond Latte Ink. I really like this ink for the “no-line” coloring technique! I stamped it once onto a scrap paper before stamping onto my 80# Hammermill Color Copy Coverstock, for an even softer outline. After coloring with Copics, I went over the details with my Dark Brown Prismacolor Pencil.

The patterned paper is from the Heidi Swapp Serendipity 6×6 pad, matted with Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock. I cut a couple of the layers of my card with Stitched Rectangle Dies, and the sentiment is stamped with YNS Mocha Ink. I added a few Love Me Some Latte Gumdrops for the finishing touch!
