Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hi there, coffee cardmakers!  I have never done a design team close up post, so it is my turn to share a little bit about myself. I don’t like photos of myself, so I’ll just post a little one of me below.

I’m a first generation American, my mom is from Germany and my dad is from Spain. I grew up in New York- on Long Island- but now live in North Carolina with my hubby, beloved daughter and 2 doggies.  I left New York over 25 years ago to go to get my Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology at UNC- Chapel Hill, met my husband (he’s German) and then never left.  I’m still a New Yorker at heart though, my favorite thing to do is to run around Manhattan!

I started scrapbooking 8 years ago, made a lot of albums, but I would never share most of what I made because I don’t share photos of my daughter on social media. I started dabbling in cardmaking about 4 years ago and have never looked back.  I created my blog “Coffee-Fueled Creations” before becoming a part of the CLC DT because I LOVE coffee.  Thank goodness for coffee, there is nothing like a hot cup first thing in the morning to help wake me up!

I have always loved origami, so I think my love of interactive cards is derived from that life-long love of paper folding. Interactive cards take a long time to make, so I don’t always get to make them, even though I would love to. Here are a few that I made for CLC!
