Hello there coffee loving crafty peeps! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! This week, while I had my Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps on my table, I decided to craft up another lovey-dovey card featuring the sweet backgrounds in the Texture Tiles 9 set and the fun Much Love sentiment set. It’s my niece’s 13th birthday today so I thought I’d make a “cool kids” card and a sweet treat for her. Since Hot Cocoa Bombs are all the rage these days, I decided to make her some tasty Cinnamon Hot Chocolate Cocoa Bombs. I made three BIG Bombs and a set of four baby bombs that she can share with her little brother. HEE HEE.
To create my card, I started out by stamping a piece of white cardstock with the coffee beans stamp and then diecut it with a heart die. I then used some Pan Pastels in this yummy fuchsia color along the edges to give it some color. Next, I attached this heart to a strip of cardstock in the same fuchsia color with some washi tape. I took a piece of jean material (I’m working on some valentine hearts for my “Valentine Tree”) that I had on my craft table and machine stitched it to some corrugated paper. After that, I mounted the heart/paper to the jean material and then tore the corrugated paper at the top to give it some added texture.
I mounted this corrugated panel to a white cardstock panel and stamped the Love You sentiment above the panel before mounting this panel onto a white card base. To finish things off, I added a natural twine bow and a veneer heart. VOILA!
I think these two stamp sets are some of my most favorite valentine stamps this year. Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card. I hope you have a fab. week!
Awesome card and bombs by Kerry! Hey, it’s Amy popping in really quick to announce the winner of the Sweet ‘n Sassy Collaboration Hop.
