Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Monday!  Katie here today with a fun card for you that will have you buzzing!  Nothing tells someone you love them like a little nectar, honey or COFFEE!

I am telling you, they are just so cute, I had to take multiple photos.

OK, here is how I made this.  First I stamped my Honey Bee images from Studio Katia.  I colored them with Copics.  In that sweet little cup, I put coffee and put flower in the queen’s hand and a crown on her head.  I used a black glaze pen for the eyes, colored the cheeks and added white gel pen on top, and added a shimmer pen on the wings and crown.  Next, I die cut the the polygons using the Double Stitched Polygon Die from Honey Bee Stamps.

Before I mounted all the layers together, I stamped the images on the base.  I mounted the bee’s using foam tape and added more glaze pen to the antennae. Then I pulled out some Jen Hadfield paper and used the Trinity Stamps Stitched Card Panels Die.  I mounted it on the base.  I stamped the sentiments on a lighter color pink and mounted them and then added my polygons.

Aren’t they the sweetest little bees ever?  The glaze pen really adds something on the eyes.  Here they are from another angle.
