Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Did you hear about Super Sponsor Newton’s Nook Designs newest release?  It includes two new caffeinated sets.  Here is how I was inspired:

My first card combines both Newton’s Mug and Love Cafe’.

I also included:

Circle Frames Die Set | Framework Die Set
Land Borders Die Set | Argyle Stencil Set

The base is a pale aqua A2 panel.  I layered a white Frameworks stitched panel on top.  I blended the Argyle stencil on a bristol panel and trimmed it to fit the stitched panel.  To soften the background I used vellum with the Circle Frames die.  To anchor Newton and all his coffee, I used white cardstock with the stitched circle die and then trimmed it down with the stitched land border die.

The Newton’s Mug dies are a must, they cut the interior of the mug handle.  I’m a sucker for that.

My other card uses the Love Cafe’.  I’ve also included:

Do you see how I used the Mugs Stencil with my embossing mat when I ran it through my diecutter?  I stamped the sentiment on a red strip of cardstock and trimmed it down to a flag.
