Mittens & Coffee

Today I have a simple card that uses only die cuts from Super Sponsor Stampin Up and Ellen Hutson.  I really do love die cutting in lays; it is nice to not color elements for a card sometimes.I used the Stampin Up Coffee Cafe dies to create the coffee cup and the Smitten Mittens dies.

I made a bunch of different mittens out of different shades of pink cardstock and then pieced them back together.  I ultimately decided to use mittens that kept all the die cut pieces in them.  I placed them together so that they formed a heart- I added a piece of red cardstock to make the heart more visible.

I cut the coffee cup with the Stampin Up Coffee Cafe dies; I used Neenah solar white cardstock and kraft cardstock.  I then die cut a coffee sentiment out of kraft and gold cardstock.

I die cut a panel of vellum with a rectangle stitched die and put this over a panel die cut with the Ellen Hutson Stitches Cover Plate.  Finally I added a few wood veneer hearts to finish up the card.  Thank you so much for stopping by!
