Hey there coffee loving crafty peeps! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip. This week I decided to go Masculine…after seeing a sketch challenge recently. While the sketch inspired me (with the stripes and linear nature of the simple design), I diverged a bit too much from the challenge to participate. I always seem to do that so that’s why I don’t participate much in challenges. Yeah, I don’t stick to directions much. HA HA.
Anyway, I decided to use some scraps on my table from a previous project and created this strip-ey design and then added some coffee-loving elements to make it deelish. I also tried to stick to my New Years objective and used some of my once loved- but lost in the abyss of my craft room washi tape to add more fun to movement to the design. Can you see the loop-dee-loops? Anyway, I’m on the right track with this new year crafty goal!
The images were stamped with VersaClair ink (Nocturne and Blue Belle) and then embossed with clear EP. After that, I fussy cut the cup from the Miss Ink Stamps Brewtiful set , added some coffee (with a brown Copic) and then embellished the card with a little wire steam element.
To finish things off, I added a little square button element and mounted the panel onto a gray panel before attaching to a blue card base.
Oh… The awesome chrystalline mug is from my collection. It’s by Justin Reese @jpr_studio on IG. Check him out!
