Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy New Year!  Katie here today for my first 2021 post.  I will be on the CLC blog the first Monday of every month this year and I hope you will join me here.

Today I have a fun and fancy fox card for you today, perfect for someone who likes fancy or sassy for their birthday.

This card features the Be Her stamp set from Waffle Flower.  I just love these critters and all of their fun accessories.  I stamped and colored my fox and added the fun hat, a tea/coffee cup and a nice pearl necklace.  On the hat, I added some flower embellishments for a little extra pop.  I colored everything with Copics and cut them out.  Next, I used the Flower Circles Inverted die in both white and a layer of vellum so I could see the paper through, but not so bright.  Next, cut my DP and some saffron cardstock to size and mounted them.  I stamped and embossed a sentiment from Simon Says in Versamark and then embossed it with Wow Gold Embossing powder. I mounted my fox in my circle and then mounted the circle using foam tape.

Don’t you thinks he is so fancy and perfect for a tea house?  I think so.  I love the color combo and the fresh feel after all the holiday cards.  Here is one more close up.
