Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hi there! I hope that you are doing well during the pre-Thanksgiving rush!  I have already started cooking!  I have a quick shaker coffee card that I made using stamps & dies from Super Sponsor My Favorite Things.

I stamped the Knitted Sweater background stamp onto Neenah solar white cardstock and then die cut it with s small stitched rectangle die.  I then determined where I wanted to put the shaker coffee cup and used the MFT Cafe All Day dies to die cut the knitted panel so that I could insert the Coffee Cup Shaker Pouch in it.  I die cut all the pieces from the MFT Cafe All Day dies, colored the insert light brown with copic marker E31, added some peppermint embellishments for the shaker elements and then sealed the entire shaker component shut by putting double sided adhesive on both sides of the pouch.  The pouches make it super easy to create shaker cards without having to create a foam sandwich to contain all the shaker elements!

I stamped and die cut the adorable fox from the BB Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp & die.  I’ve had this stamp set for quite a while and have been wanting to use it!  I did some simple copic coloring on the fox (R59 & R46 for the sweater and hat, E09 & YR27 for the fur.

I had originally thought that I would use the sentiment “Sending Warm Hugs” from the BB Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp set, but I had recently gotten the Stacked Merry Die. I die cut word “merry” 3 times using the Stacked Merry Die and glued them all together to create some dimension and to make it stand out on the card.

To finish off the card, I die cut a bunch of snowflakes out of glitter and white cardstock using the Sweet Snowflakes dies. I added some pearl embellishments in the middle to create extra interest, some twine and a few holly berries & leaves to finish off the card.
