Guest Designer – November 23

We’re so excited to have Angie Cimbalo with us as a Guest Designer!

Hello! I’m a semi-retired school music teacher living in Texas with my wonderful husband and my sweet goldendoodle pup.  When I’m not crafting, I’m having tons of fun helping music students and their directors in schools in the area. My husband and I have 4 adult children, 5 grandchildren with 1 more on the way.  My card making style is mostly clean and simple but I also love trying new techniques.  I’m thrilled to guest design with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers team and look forward to sharing my projects with you.

Please visit me on Instagram (@macimbalo), my blog Cimbacreativefun, and my new YouTube channel where I have just started making videos.

Hello there, it’s Angie Cimbalo from Cimbacreativefun and I’m very happy to be here guest designing for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today!  Thanks so much to Amy for inviting me!

For my card I used some of my favorite critters from My Favorite Things Sweater Weather in the Woods stamp set.  Along with the beautiful blanket slimline die from Honey Bee Stampsan oval from Stamplorations and pumpkins from Poppy Stamps Falling For You!

I stamped all the images in black and heat embossed them with WOW clear embossing powder.  The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with WOW white embossing powder.

All images were colored with Altenew Warm & Cozy Artist Markers and then I added a little colored pencil for accents.  The blanket die from Honey Bee Stamps was cut from both plain white cardstock and from another piece of white that I added orange Altenew marker to so it would match the critters and pumpkins.

I cut the fringe off the plain white blanket die cut and added it to the top of the orange one so you could only see the orange fringe.  Before adhering the images and sentiment to the white panel, I took an oval Stamplorations stencil set and inked an oval with Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Lastly I added all the critters, pumpkins and sentiment, some with glue and others with foam tape.

Here’s a few more views of my card:

Thanks so much for allowing me to share my pumpkin spice coffee slimline card with you today!

I’ll be back in December with another fun coffee creation!
